Or he could try fixing the horribly translated description that makes readers not want to even try reading chapter 1. Unlike the tired sass/sarcastic descriptions you get from some stories on mangadex, this poor guy actually tried to make the story appealing.

That part right there is not working. In fact, no description at all may actually work better in getting someone to at least chapter 1 because the art cover is a selling point and the tags would do their job. The description here chasing readers away.

He could
1) read my comment and do something about it to get more readers.
2) read my comment and get discouraged like you two fear he would.
3) read my comment, improve his language as "step 1 of doing something" and then forget about the horribly translated description altogether because improving the translation quality of the available chapters is more important.
4) Not read my comment because not everyone would bother reading this.
5) Read my comment and ignore me because bad translation is still a translation and he has no desire to improve his translation quality.

Yes. He owes us nothing but there is still a huge difference between "Somewhat understandable translations" and "Almost as undecipherable as the raws translations"

And let me tell you from novelupdate experience. There are a lot of bad consequences to having bad translations such as 'causing people to lose interest in the series entirely to the extent they never come back' and 'the many many 1 star reviews causing the story to end up at the bottom pile, losing many potential readers'

Though my fault here is that i forget to say the description is horrible because I understood absolutely nothing from it except that its a reincarnation story.

Just the description itself makes me not want to read it.

I'm guessing we're supposed to think that the main character is a badass and that we're supposed to take the story seriously. But honestly it's more comedic than anything and I really can't take it seriously... maybe it's because of the million other similar chinese webnovels and manhwa I've read, but like, I can't help but laugh when I see the big dick energy the author is trying to give the MC...
