So Dario is the one that looked down on the healer, and was trying to fight for party leader position. I think he also looked down on MC when he became weakened.

My guess is that his type is the "fighting strength is all that matters", and only acknowledges the strong. After hearing the MC get his abilities back, and being in heavy debt, he searched out for the MC to team up again.

I don't think him being here is out of malicious intent, more like he is just too proud to come crawling on his knees begging.

So probable outcomes:
1) MC refuses and Dario follows anyway and causes trouble (intentionally malicious or "helping").
2a) MC accepts (reluctantly) and Dario doesn't take orders/listen and ignores no violence clause.
2b) ... but Dario is actually Tsun, and is swayed by Loli's nat 20 speech skill.

Everyone saying that MC should refute him, when actually this should be the quest giver job: he should state, as clearly as possible, that loose cannon will not be payed, even if he bring the daughter back on a silver platter. That's to prevent a huge liability to be involved in an extremely sensitive request.
What will actually happen is that quest giver will not complain about him smashing the table, spineless MC will take him in the party, he will cause all sort of problems, will try to steal reward money, spineless MC will forgive him and the author will even try to make us feel sorry for him.

According to my personal experience, it is not wise to take a journey with someone who jumped and broke the table you are using

@Chet31 I doubt the author is going to be that reasonable. Although it is also possible it will be a bait-n-switch, where he looks and sounds kamikaze, but turns out to be a kind guy who left hero party for ethical reasons. But again, I doubt that too, for this manga :/
