Ugh! I hate being a complainy pants, but these small sub-chapters are killing me. 22 sub-chapters deep (not including the omake) and we’re still only technically part way through chapter #4. I’ve always tried to make a point out of never complaining about chapters being too short, but geez... these sub-chapters are shorter than Minamoto-kun Monogatari chapters. And that’s really saying something. Alright! Now that I’ve gotten all of the hot air out, let me just say, Translator-san, sorry about all that. I know you guys work hard to bring us this stuff so don’t take what I said too much to heart. I was just a little frustrated because it’s too difficult to get into the story when there’s only a quarter of a chapter at a time. But, I know you’re doing it that way to make it easier on yourself. I guess I’ll have to let these sub-chapters build up before I read it again.

@Shakur plenty of people have chosen suicide over slavery in the history of man. It really depends on what kind of slavery we're talking about and if she would ever have a chance to escape. Dying as a warrior sounds a whole lot more appealing than spending the rest of your days getting raped or beaten.

With all that talk and then killing the guy, I do hope she's killed in a similar fashion after meeting the MC

Wow, this was such an interesting chapter without the main character that I almost forgot what manga I was reading. I can't believe there are so many of you who think it's better with the MC.

Fighting when you know you will lose and you losing will not help anyone os just suicide. Living to fight another day is a way better plan, like instead of fighting the girl that would certainly kill her, being a slave for some time and fleeing when the best time comes is a way better plan.

See, the thing with overpowered MC is that the you'll tend to write a scenario for "normal" people and have it get mucked up by the main character as an outside context problem.
One Punch Man works as well as it does because Saitama is a bizarre outside context problem being thrown into one battle shounen trope after another.

This becomes a problem when your use of your overpowered main character becomes overshadowed by the normal templates you try to disrupt.

I hope the girl the MC meets isn't the slave girl

I hate this, because this really feels like the start of a half decent revenge/battle manga, but I can't even enjoy it because our too dumb to live mc is bound to show up at some point and ruin all narrative tension.
