I said it before, and I'll say it again. Oomiya has no business actually winning. Yes, he is commendable for doing honestly pretty good and for consistently giving it his best. In this case, that should not mean he wins, though. There is still a wide margin between his efforts and the efforts plus talent of his competitors. It would be so bad if Oomiya wins for his "efforts" after the sprinter from the other school lost for literally the exact same reason. |
