@SakuraShower lol sorry this response is like a month late (i just started reading this) but yes, they did use silverware in ancient Korea but only the wealthy and royalty were able to use it hence the saying "Born with a silver spoon in your mouth" meaning you come from a wealthy family. They thought that metal could detect poisoning in food so if the metal turned darkish or changed color for some reason they would suspect that the food would be poisoned so the King would always be served food with metal utensils.
