I'm honestly just following this to see how bad it can get. Never disappoints, every chapter is written/drawn worse than the previous one 😂

my best guess here, but if I was adapting a comic from a novel, I would be of two minds
1) the intro chapters are more or less a re tred of neraly everything else, so skim them
2) the intro arc is usually going to be some character building, due to it being a novel, there is more fluf here then would be in a comic for the same feel.
3) I would want to get to the 'good' stuff fast

shield hero as an example, I would want to fast track the "betrayal" as fast as possible because up till then the story is business as usual.
the dragon/spider one (I forget the name) I would fast track to humans with stops at events
im a spider so what, I would fast track much of the encounters outside of big bads or events till they are out

the problem comes from how much do you fast track, and this feels like its missing pages with how much its skipping

If the only purpose for the manga is to advertise the novel, I think i wouldn't care much, so I would watch it with this one, either they are fast tracking due to incompetence or they are fast tracking because this is just a novel ad
