You know i understand Youtarou seeing her only as a little sister, but the way he treated her this chapter is downright insulting, he can treat her like family but not as an invalid that won't grow and outgrow certain things.

I think the sort of theme of this manga is sort of like "relationship betweem caretaker and the caretakee". Everyone in this manga likes Tsubasa because she is like a puppy that you can care for, even Minori wants her for that. Like that is the relationship that Youtarou have with all the girls, even the imouto. Like they are trying to distinguish between romantic and familial love here but I think the real distinguishing factor will be like love even without the caretaking.

Also for this author's style of harem, there are usually no winners as far as I can tell, its more who will form the core 3 which the protag will marry

Seriously does Minori want to be with Youtarou or Tsubasa? You can't even pull the "She wants to be lovers with Youtarou and close friends with Tsubasa." explanation when the author has Minori disappointed when she finds that Tsubasa likes Youtarou more than her. Minori didn't say "She loves him." as in "I have a rival." she said "It's not me." as in "She doesn't love me romantically."

I could take it as a joke (maybe) but when you have the character pour her heart out to the male lead a couple of chapters ago, saying how much she wants him to only be with her. Then you have the character do a 180 and have her get upset over her female friend liking someone else (because a girl crushing on another girl is funny? is that the joke? IDK), then the joke gets muddled. No matter what the author (or certain fans) want, this flip-flopping with who Minori wants to be with is making it hard for me to care if she "wins" or not because I can't even tell what's a "win" for Minori.

@bradek I was trying to find a way to phrase that line better, but this was the best I could do without changing the meaning. The part about family was slightly ambiguous anyway, and I think you could conceivably read it as wanting to be "the most important person to someone, rather than being just their family" so I tried to preserve that (especially since that was the context of the chapter). Wanting to be so important to someone that they love you more than their own family sounds more than a bit possessive, but I figured if that's what actually Minori meant I'll just chalk it up as her being a teenager.
