I’m liking this manga more and more, especially with this chapter. Hopefully it doesn’t become a trope-filled mess, like a lot of other similar stories seem to turn into |

Aww. Manly tears always get to me. Cool that the Gola knew how to restore a starving stomach. Cool how this didn't fall into all of the cliche's I expected it to. |

That's a new turn of events. No trope, no questioning, just good friends remembering someone from ten years ago. What a breath of fresh air in a somewhat stagnant genre. |

His former party remembers him... Amazing. It's not supposed to be but it is. It's only logical but thanks to cliches this development is REALLY welcome and refreshing |

wow, I love that his friends are legit friends and not scumbags that we read about in 90% of isekai mangas. |

@Stella @Umesan Thanks for the clarification. I'm an Asian and whenever i'm sick, my parent makes me porridge to help easier digestion, they use very little amount of rice if I got stomachache, so while it's very light but still count as porridge and not rice water, moreover my quick google search turned up with some rice water beauty tips and not the food, thus I have no idea that rice water is actually a real type of food. |

@Buyobae it's basically a weak gruel for helping patients/people who may have stomach problems from diarrhea or malnutrition. In this case since our hero was essentially fasting for 10 years. His stomach might not immediately react well to sudden intakes of sugar from the sweets. |

@Buyobae It's not congee, which is what I initially thought; See Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_water You can do some research yourself if you'd like: 重湯 おもゆ (n) thin rice gruel; rice water |
