@Weoooo @Trew865 I'm 40% sure that what's going on is: Jun was a girl the whole time (which everyone knows except us; it's a gender-neutral name) and was in love with Haruka without realizing it, instead just telling him to stop helping other people out of fear that he'll drift away. (And/or: Jun wants to be helped herself, since she's having a tough time, but is too proud to admit it.) I say this only because, of all the possible explanations for what happened, it ties everything together, and all the things that we focus on make sense in retrospect: - Foreshadowing of gender confusion with the girl who looks like a boy, - Which things Haruka does that Jun reacts especially negatively to (especially: helping other girls), - Why Haruka appears where he does in the self-relevation and/or dream sequences (which go with too little explanation, yeesh), - Why we even have a scene where Haruka is turning down a girl's confession. But, if so, there's just way too much misdirection from the author here, yeesh XD And if it is like this, why end with the two girls having a heart-to-heart? And never have our main pair talk it over in the end? Yikes. |
