@Rizkyarief No, this is psychologically more sound. If you are destined to kill your own child, and aren't a total psycho, you'd want to treat the child poorly and have barely anything to do with them. That way the child would feel like a pitiful stranger better off dead when the time comes. If you brought up the child in happiness and warmth, could you slay the child anymore? |

Yet again, different styles. One moment is all nice pretty art... the next moment is carbon black and blood finger marks. I love it. (The different styles... not the bloody fingers) She must have been starving to eat all that on her own, but also, how much time was she being fed only that water-y soup? |

um, rather than "make her happy b4 sac her..." how about don't fucking kill ur own children for personal gain, please? also, y tf is this horrible the point of 'this beginning is just a means to an end,' can be countered by, well, author could've just given a flashback like 2-3 chapters in that abbreviates this whole ridiculous mess whoever it is that is employing the servants also only hires people that lack brains, and while the nanny apparently raised one of the sisters, she doesn't know that the burn marks which seem to have somewhat healed over the nerve damage shouldn't be handled that roughly since even if the damage was only caused by boiling water, she wouldn't have done that if she didn't have an obvious intent to give the mc pain, i mean, every ch up until now has been frustratingly, bipolar- since every1 and everything needs to be on one end of the obsession spectrum or the other; is the point of this whole thing to mess with readers,, nvm idk y im going on an angry rant about this, however i suppose i've succeeded in venting at irrelevant things, srry again to all those that read all of this. |

Now realistically, revealing her power wouldn't actually stop the marquis from sacrificing her from what I've seen. The favoritism is already decided, and if anything, Leslie is only going to be considered "a high-quality sacrifice" with her magical power. However, her sister wouldn't be smart enough to call that bluff anyway. Rather, she both lacks the self-awareness and has the sociopathic mentality to actually buy she'd be thrown away, so it works out. |

its hard to believe a housekeeper who lives there wouldnt be aware of the fact that they abuse her, the fact that her room and clothes are so shitty already makes it obvious that they dont like her i guess shes bluffing with her sister, because obviously the dad wouldnt give a shit even if he knew she had power. shes supposed to have power, thats why they kill her to transfer it over |

So...does the family brainwash the nanny? She honestly doesn't seem to know Leslie is being abused. It's funny all of the idiots in that house seem to just expect her to accept being burned to death. |

It's amazing the Sperado men can keep finding women who'll be complicit in all this. |
