no, going by the chapters that are translated and the bio notes made for all the characters at the stories end (the web novel ends in about 80 something chapters), it isn't edgy but it has sections that fall under tragedy. Also, Gluttonous Berserker isn't edgy. There's only one scene in the story where he kills someone out of revenge, the rest of his conflicts with people who hurt him in the past are bitter sweet and usually involves the person either having grown and become a better person since then or being someone to pity. Spoiler
