She will then analyse the answers with statistical methods and make a presentation out of it. That's nothing out of ordinary. I believe you misunderstood something that happened in the chapter. Pretty sure that kind of homework would get the professor in hot water here (Finland) because of the privacy implications. Or in the rest of Europe for that matter...
