I buy digital as well from the Play store because it's cheaper as well. Like yeah I'm all for physical releases, but if I can save and STILL support then hey I'll go for the cheaper option.

Well I do buy every issue as it prints out. Volumes 1-7 of the manga and 1-3 of the LN.

@doomrider7 @TheBlueCat This is why people are willing to pirate everything, we want to support them, but in this economy, everything costs an arm and a leg, and that's why services like Crunchyroll and Netflix got so successful, everything we wanted for one price, unfortunately, it also meant the creators themselves get paid less, which in turn made them pander more, which meant the quality suffered, and that is a big part of the reason why there are so many remakes/sequels vs. original content these days, as the old saying goes "Garbage in, Garbage out."

I'm sorry to hear. The $7.99 price though is to buy it digitally not physically so there's no shipping charge to factor in. Still expensive though. I can link to the LN though.

So I would have to pay $64 of my currency, for a SINGLE book. For scale, a single cheap meal at my place is $7. The economy is so bad right now in my country I have to put off my son's haircut, which is $10.

As cheap as it is... gonna have to wait a while. For the time being, mangadex is my tether to sanity.

@nfzeta Yea, this is pretty true. In the overwhelming majority of isekai, within a few chapters Boring MC-kun is on top of the ranking system. There are some where this isn't the case, but not many.

@pantser That's a rarity as well as far as I know. Usually something or another happens when they go in and they get a boost through ranks, though not directly to the top, I've only seen that happen in Overlord.
