Ooh, dat title drop!

Why am I somehow reminded of Araragi and Shinobu/Kiss-Shot from Kizumonogatari...

Twist. For real. I already can image how MC's loli say something like "If you must drink blood, then drink mine for rest of your life!".

Didn't see that coming

It would be a nice end for the anime season.

Anyway, i hope we will see this story until the end, i want to see adult Melida progression (in Strenght and with romantic relationship) and I want her to discover him being a Assassin+Vampire and her reaction to that.

WHOA didn't see that coming but man "I'll gladly give her my head" that's an absolute loyalty right there. This is getting interesting
Avatar
lol, dude talking about his "assassin pride" but at the moment he refused to kill is target its worth shit.

Now I really want to see how his student's abilities turn out. If he's a vampire his mana might have some really interesting side effects. I hope the new scanlation group stays with this. It's pretty interesting.

My, my, my.....how the turn tables.

Much more interested now.

Re-attaching the severed arm was crazy. This guy's a T1000.

Man... Being reminded of this series made me sad. I really enjoy it. Hoping someone picks it up one day.

that was hot. They should start with the baby making already

that's an interesting point wilddeath. It's possible that the reason she ended up not having backlash from the forced mana awakening is because she also gained vampire abilities, although they're probably weaker.

Although mana and species probably aren't neccessarily intermingled, only class and mana are. From the notes in16.5, it seems that vampires can only be invoked by blood/being bitten rather than mana injection like what mc did, but it's possible it's all the same thing.
Avatar
uh... he's a vampire right? And he planted his own mana inside melida right? Did he potentially turn her into a vampire too?
Avatar
what a twist, man can't wait for the next one!
Avatar
man big twist, now cant wait to see if anything will happen next or if this will continue
Avatar
Still better writing than GoT last season.

I guess the main point of this series always was Melida's struggle to get stronger (and survive), so Kuufa being OP doesn't necessarily matter as much as it would if he was the only main character. I reckon he also can't use too much power in public to avoid being recognised as a half-monster. It would have been even better if he couldn't have used his real power without transforming into the vampire shape, but that doesn't seem to be the case. He apparently showed William his real form just for the heck of it.
